Play & Inquire Together

Our free programs are built on the four foundations of learning: Belonging, Well-being, Expression, and Engagement. All sites provide access to play and inquiry-based learning, information on child development, parent education, early learning activities, referrals to community resources, nutrition information, and pre- and postnatal resources.

Collaborative Community

EarlyON Centres provide services that are child and family-centred, community-driven, integrated and collaborative, developmentally appropriate, socially inclusive, and evidence-based. Meet and build connections with other parents, caregivers and children in the community.

Early Literacy Resources

Early Literacy refers to the experiences that take place before a child can read and write. When you think about early literacy, imagining the idea of building a healthy brain is helpful. Research tells us that brains aren’t just born; they are built over time based on our experiences, and early experiences shape the architecture of the developing brain. Click on the button below for information, resources and inspirations to support you in providing children with healthy early experiences.

Our People, Our Strength

Many First Nations refer to the Medicine Wheel as the Circle of Life, the Sacred Circle or the Cycle of Life. The Medicine Wheel is not to be considered a sacred icon; it is simply a symbol used as a teaching tool.
